Odisha
Book announces
the winners of the Odisha Book Online Essay Competition on 31st May 2014. This competition was the
key initiatives undertaken by the Indumatee
Media which provides services of publishing (Books, Magazines and Online
Portals), advertising, photography, translations, and consultancy
services.
Participants had the
opportunity to express their thoughts on the topic “Importance of Computer Education”, received a good number of
entries and had a tough time picking the winners. The essays were evaluated by
a panel of five judges through a review process and finally analyzed by Mr. Nihar Ranjan Shanti, Senior Editor of Odishabook.com.
Penned down by the senior
editor; It is just a beginning of the journey by the Odishabook.com towards
benefits of the students in the field of education awareness. The essay writing
competition of Odishabook.com got an overwhelming response from different parts
of the country. We take it as a very good beginning as we got the response from
16 states of the country and hope for greater number of participation in the
days to come. We have also got responses from all major cities of India. The
evaluation of essays were based on the on various parameters such as relevance
of the content to the subject, structure, grammar, thought process, originality
of the content and so on. It was a tough job to evaluate the few top scores
which resulted in 5 time review of the score for top 10 candidates for deciding
the top three of them. I would like to thank and appreciate Er. Kanishka Dash for revaluation and
ensuring the correctness and completeness of the evaluation process. I
congratulate the winners as well as other participants for their active
participation. Any effort never goes fruitless; if not today it will return all
the results tomorrow with all interest accumulated on it.
On combined request, the Chief Editor, Mr. Akshaya Kumar Sahoo
willingly took the responsibility of declaring the result and awarding the
winners.
